Joseph Moog and Anima Eterna will meet in concert for the first time at Klavier-Festival Ruhr on Monday 24 April.
In preparation, Moog visited the piano collection of Jos van Immerseel to try out his instruments. The result? An original Bechstein from 1870 (Berlin, restoration Patrice Souvageot) was chosen for Franz Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 2. Van Immerseel himself played Liszt on this historical instrument during the Atelier Anima concerts last year. He adds: “Moog is someone special. His knowledge about historical instruments is impressive!”
