Anima Eterna Brugge ushers the spring in alongside its faithful companion Ludwig van Beethoven. Exactly 10 years after the recording of Beethoven’s complete symphonies on historical instruments, which in the meantime has become a reference, Jos van Immerseel and his ensemble focus on what many consider to be a cornerstone and masterpiece of Beethoven’s orchestral oeuvre: the magisterial “9th”.
